AWS Engineer with Big Data tools

Responsibilities

Redshift type scalable/distributed processing
Indexes/Sorting, partitioning, concurrency
Stored Procedures, views
Security and authorization within RedShift
Liaison with Modeling team
Physical Schema
Transformation Logic verified/tuned based on metadata
Neptune processing
Neptune schema design
Focus on loads to EDW & Neptune

Required Skills/Experience

- Experience with at least one major MPP or Cloud Database technology (RedShift Preferred)
- Must have experience with Cloud Technologies like AWS (S3, MSK, EMR, EC2)
- Solid experience with writing and maintaining Data Pipelines
- Familiarity with Data Modeling techniques and data warehousing methodologies and practices
- Scripting skills including Bash Scripting, Scala, and Java
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams, both technical and non-technical
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
