Data/Integrations Analyst

A reputable insurance company is seeking an experienced Data Analyst who is comfortable working with varied data sets to surface actionable insights. The ideal candidate can use tools such as database and REST clients to analyze and debug integrations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for helping the company understand data and use it more effectively
• Perform REST API troubleshooting and analysis
• Structure data sets to find usable information
• Identify functional issues, interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies within the organization
• Create reports to collect and analyze data
• Provide project updates and technical documentation (business needs statements, technical specifications, etc.)
• Create and maintain various process and architecture diagrams
• Capture metrics that support the organization’s IT governance processes
• Define the data shared across the enterprise and capture the relationships among roles, capabilities, and business units
• Tech Stack: AWS, REST clients such as postman, database clients

Required Experience/Skills

• • Minimum of 3+ years experience working with and analyzing complex data and file formats.
  • Experience with business processes and mapping
  • Insurance experience is strongly preferred, especially with life insurance data models such as the ACORD standard
  • Experience analyzing REST APIs
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
